A simple teenager, Miles Morales, begins a difficult period in his life. He enters a school for gifted children, leaving his usual social circle, and conflicts with his father, a policeman, who tries to keep him under control. In addition to the usual problems of transition, Miles is bitten by a radioactive spider.
