Yakel 3D 2012 A documentary about the Yakel tribe from the island of Pentecost (Vanuatu). It shows the life of a community that preserves ancient customs, including the famous "High Jump" ritual, a dangerous initiation ceremony where men jump from tall wooden towers with vines around their ankles. The painting captures a unique culture and the clash of the traditional way of life with the modern world. This is an ethnographic journey into a vanishing reality.
